Bio

Hi, I am Wendy Rowe, owner and manager of Front Rowe Realty. Being a fifth generation Bahamian I was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. Our family originated from Scotland and England- first settled on the island of Harbour Island, Eleuthera in the Bahamas and then ventured east to live in Nassau. My family heritage and name sake Higgs and Cole have very strong roots through out the Bahamas. I attended St. Andrews school in Nassau before transferring to Stoneleigh-Burnham prep school in Massachusetts. After graduating I then studied at Roanoke College in Virginia and the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where I completed several business courses and earned an associates degree in Commercial Art. It wasn’t until relocating from Nassau to George Town, Great Exuma in 1998 with my husband and whilst living aboard our boat that I discovered the world of real estate! How could one not, with our gorgeous waters and awesome beaches I literally dove head first in to the business as an apprentice and then received my Salesman’s license from the Bahamas Real estate Association (BREA) in 1999. It was then that I went on to represent and manager the H.G. Christie Ltd. Exuma’s office in George Town until 2008. Selling, leasing and assisting in appraisals helped me to receive top out island producer in 2003, 2004 and then again in 2007 in the company. In 2005 I saw the need for property management; we had numerous foreigners investing and building second homes to rent. Not knowing anyone on the island and who they could entrust their property to, my husband and I decided to start our own property management business called, “Island Easyâ€
